Eligibility
Impact Alamance does not accept unsolicited proposals. We accept proposals during our grant cycles. Please go to our Grant Opportunities page to see current funding opportunities.
Impact Alamance grants are awarded to 501(c)3 organizations or governmental entities that are based in Alamance County or serve a significant number of Alamance County residents. Grant proposal should outline how your project will align with Impact Alamance’s strategic priorities.

Grant Making Process
Impact Alamance’s grant making decisions are guided by our mission and strategic plan as developed by our board of directors. Though we would like to fully fund all proposals we receive, even chosen proposals may not be granted the full amount requested due to the number of requests and availability of funds.
Funding decisions for grant and assistance programs are made as follows:
Organizational Assessments and Capacity Building Technical Assistance: Impact Alamance Staff will review applications and make award decisions based on need, opportunity and proposed impact of the assistance. This funding is available once a year in the Spring. See Grant Opportunities page to see current funding opportunities.
Grant Writer Assistance: Impact Alamance Staff will review applications and make award decisions based on need, opportunity and proposed impact of the assistance. This funding is available year round, please see Grant Opportunities page for application instructions.
